02 / Room to step back

Leasing your vineyard

You keep the land. We take on the farming cost, the weather risk and the work of selling the fruit to our winery customers. You receive steady rent while your block stays in vines.

  • Multi-year terms: fixed rent or revenue share
  • We carry the farming cost and risk
  • Fruit placed with our 20+ winery customers
  • Taxes kept current, block kept healthy

Who we work with

Built for owners
in your situation.

01 / Owners

Wineries with estate land

Estate parcels farmed to your winemaker’s spec, white-label if you prefer. Your fruit, your tanks, our crews.

02 / Owners

Growers ready to retire

Lease your block to us. Steady income, taxes stay current, and the ground stays in vines under crews you’ve watched work for years.

03 / Owners

Absentee owners

An estate, an inheritance, a parcel far from home. We handle the season and send clear reports, so the vineyard is cared for without the drive.

How it works

First, we walk
the rows.

Every arrangement starts on the ground, in your block. No obligation, and a written assessment follows the walk.

  1. Send the basics. Two minutes with the form on this page: location, acreage, varieties, and the arrangement you have in mind.
  2. We reply within two business days. A real conversation with a grower, not a sales script.
  3. We walk your block together. You get a free written assessment: the block’s condition, what it needs, and what we’d recommend, with no obligation.
  4. Terms in writing. Fixed fee or revenue share, scoped before any work starts. Then our crews farm it like our own.
Why owners hand us the rows

Fifteen seasons.
Six farms of our own.

The same family has farmed the South Okanagan since 2011. Six vineyard sites from Naramata to Osoyoos, fruit sold to more than twenty wineries every vintage. When we take on your block, it gets the same crews, the same equipment and the same standard as the ground our name is on.

The year on your block

What we do,
season by season.

Winter & spring

Prune, tie, protect

Hand pruning and tying, shoot thinning, and an irrigation and nutrition plan built on soil-moisture probes and tissue testing. Integrated pest management starts with scouting, not spraying.

Summer & fall

Thin, net, pick

Crop thinning for even ripeness, netting and bird protection where needed, then picking on flavour, not just numbers. Same-day bin haulage to your winery, or to ours.

Our own equipment, our own crews. Nothing about your block is outsourced.
Free assessment

Tell us about
your block.

  • Free written assessment after we walk your vineyard
  • Reply within two business days, from a grower, not a call centre
  • No obligation: fixed fee or revenue share, your choice
  • Family-owned and operating since 2011

Useful for wineries with estate blocks, growers thinking about retirement, and owners who can’t be on the farm every week. Not sure your block qualifies? Ask anyway: we’ll tell you honestly if we’re not the right fit.

Sending opens your email app with the enquiry addressed to us. Nothing is stored on this site. Prefer to write directly? Email info@hbbrosvineyards.com.

Common questions

Straight answers,
before you ask.

Where do you lease or manage vineyards?

Anywhere we already farm: Naramata, Penticton, Oliver and the Osoyoos benches. If your block is close to one of our six sites, it’s likely within reach of our crews.

What does it cost?

Every block is different, so we quote after walking it. Management is a fixed seasonal fee or a revenue share; leases are fixed rent or a share of fruit sales, in a multi-year agreement.

Who buys the fruit from a leased block?

Unless you have your own buyer, we market leased-block fruit to our winery customers. If you keep a contract with a winery, the fruit goes to their tanks under your agreement.

How fast do you reply?

Within two business days, and the reply comes from a grower. If we can’t help, we’ll say so and point you to someone who can.

Next step
